For this post I thought id upload some videos on Shunryu Suzuki Roshi and his setting up of the very first Zen monastery in San Fransisco. All three parts offer a very interesting insight into not only Zen and meditation, but also how a monastery functions in a surrounding community populated primarily by non-Buddhists.
